I went on a fantastic vacation to Ireland (Dublin & sligo) and Paris,With my sister from another mister Catherine, well let’s just say we had a fantastic time, especially in Ireland the place of pure beauty, strong Irish history and never ending scenic views,you might not believe it but (and this is just MY opinion) Ireland has more to offer for travelers, the never ending rolling hills, and the locals that are so friendly, and can tell you the best CRAIC (Craic = News/Story).

Paris the city of lights and love, what a terrible and beautiful place for a single person to go, everyone around you is ecstatic happy and in love, and when you’re not dating anyone you start to look at people in a different light and think things like why her? Why not me? or wont they get a damn room??? (Tell the truth you know you thought it)

But the point is I was able to take this trip because I DON'T have cute little faces in my window or smooching session every few minutes. These things would have definitely been the end all for me (i.e. trying to coordinate with my mate on finances to afford this trip asking permission and trying to schedule a good time for both of us) i was able to just get up and leave when I felt it no, questions asked, with kids I probable would not have been able to go AT ALL because I would have been to broke trying to buy similac and pampers.
So it is not at all, in any way shape or form a BAD thing to be single, in fact if you just put your mind to it everything you have been wishing you could do you can! Just drop the excuses! No ring, No man, No babies. Don’t be that person, that says I wish I could have bought that town house, owned that car, went to grad school, went out more often, did a great vacation, traveled the world TWICE...
Why wait why not do you, NOW!!!! No ring No man, No babies..... Isn’t it great to be single!

ReplyDeleteThis is BEAUTIFULLY AMAZING!!!! The photos fill me with nostalgia, and happiness. Such an awesome time we had. So many great people we met.. and hope to meet again. This is what LIFE is about. Exploration, indulgence, feeding that curiosity... Just daring to grasp what’s beyond. Bills, rent, insurance? that's not going anywhere... so why not!? Given the opportunity, I will book the first flight (DELTA ofcourse! .. can't go wrong w/ unlimited drinks), and a simple room in Port de' montréal..and off we go....stepping on new ground..and allowing destiny to take over....

Unless you make 6 figures a year there is no way someone with babies are taking a trip to france and as someone who has a little one I wouldn't want to take his cute little face to france til he was older. Definately do everything you want to do now! When you have that cute little face you don't have nice things anymore, you don't have enough sleep and personal space is a thing of the past. (Enjoy going to the bathroom and showering alone because once little faces are there its gone lol) But when little faces come around its like a wonderful lobotomy has been preformed. You lose all your personal space and freedom but it is replaced with everything they do it cute and exciting right down to peeing and pooping in the potty. lol

ReplyDeleteIt was pure circumstantial when we first met but I can honestly say that by knowing you my life has been that much more enriched. You are a very considerate, loving, passionate, curious and intellectual person; and all these qualities about you only edify those of us who are around you my Sister. I have no doubt that the world will be at a loss one day long from here when you are gone; and while you are here I have no doubt that the cosmic powers that keep all the universe in sync has as its sub-component your beautiful and awe-inspiring energy. You do have a wonderful energy and I have noticed this about you time and time again. Some of my words may sound allegorical as if they are totally coming from the hinterlands of the outer realm or something but I would ask you to not take them lightly because I truly believe that you are special. These things that you are looking for in life will surely come to you in whatever form that God Almighty has determined they should, but until then please hear this: the person you are today is this wonderful creature that has been able to, at least, teach me things and give me a new perspective on specific issues and concerns - whether you know it or not.
I am a firm believer that we all need people to make ourselves complete (i.e. spouse, children, friends, etc.) however I also know that some of us have the capability to dwell, for a certain prescribed amount of time, in this world without these things and still make such a profound impact on life and bring so much happiness and optimism into people's lives that one must wonder whether the acquisition of a spouse, children, etc. will actually be to the benefit of that person or the ones that he/she has as that spouse or that child. And here today, I can confidently say that when that day arrives for you he will be the luckiest man and those children will be Blessed to have a Mom like you my Friend. So, know that you are Awesome (as you already do), never change unless it's meaningful and never forget these words that I here dedicate to you. Many hugs and kisses.
